Your lips so soft and smooth.

And the ways you show you care.

And the way you're always there.

I love that you are with me,

But only you can place,
A limit on your abilities.

A person can cause drama,
A person can cause a situation.
But only you can create,
Your own reputation.

A person can make you laugh,

Decisions for your life.

I guess what I'm trying to say,
That when you're living day to day.

Once again I felt like writing a line or two,
In a cool sunshine and weather thats so cute.

In my sleep I've been chasing a dream,
Last night got a glimpse of it still not very clean.

Every time I think of you I go blind in the daylight,
Moment I open my eyes I feel myself soaked in the night.

Interestingly dreams do seldom come true,
But its my life and I've chosen to let it brew.

The taste of this wine will only freshen up my pain,
As a sedative I tried and succeeded uttering your name.

Don't worry red roses in my hand will never wither,
And arrow that pierced my heart had only made it louder.

Your happiness and sorrows will always be dressed upon me,
Just for once please let me feel this feeling I want to feel!

Last night you fell asleep in my arms, I adored you.
Held you tight beneath the sheets,
kept you warm with the timeless poetry
of John Keats and W.B. Yeats.
And in that moment I knew,
why Maya Angelou wrote...
"Touched by an Angel".

"Once upon a midnight dreary"
I spoke of Poe while weak a weary.
In the midst of love to keep from drowning,
I recited Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
How do I love thee?
Would take me days to count the ways
for there has never been, nor will ever be,
one as beautiful as you.

Promise you I'll always be here,
eternal like Neruda, Frost...
Shakespeare.
In case you hadn't noticed yet,
I'm your Romeo, you're my Juliet.
Impossible to match your beauty,
it's true. E.E. said it best.
"I Carry Your Heart With Me"

When you awake you'll be in my arms,
spent the night captivated by your charms.
More beautiful when you awake than most are in a lifetime.
You're every love poem ever written,
and you're mine!

I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...

I search for you, but you don’t hide

I’m lost and you’re sincere

your gentle words are like the tide

Calm at times but never far –

From pulling everyone in-

To your world of lies and hot tar

Holding them, stuck within your gruesome sin

Your devils are banging at the door

Why don’t you open that door? ?

Feeling your pain, it’s making you sore

you made this hole and you can’t fill it anymore

Tell them how you hurt yourself

Let the blood drip slowly into the sea-

I used to hurt myself

Your demons choke you, kill you and are driven wild by me

Those words you speak in that false tongue

Not Arabic not English but Hebrew

Does it hurt? Do you feel stung?

Your perfect god, so loving, has he left too?

Then suddenly those demons come spilling out

Your heartbeat racing, you feel the pain of 6 million strong

Your heart, your mind, your soul, they scream, they shout

I can help you I promise you have done no wrong

I have walked beside you for a lifetime

It was so dark at times

When I first found you, I was so small you were so brave
Out of darkness, you lead me to a land where I was safe

With veiled joy, I leave you.
Where I was too fearful to walk alone my stride is strong
The small child you are the brave woman I have become
You pale as does time
Fear not, the path is well lit
